How BDS approaches it
A great opening creates anticipation. Strong operations turn that first impression into an experience guests can trust.
We think about what happens when the venue is busy, when the team is new, when a guest has a problem and when the business needs to maintain its standards across countless everyday decisions. Service, recipes, staffing, workflows, operating procedures and opening readiness should reinforce the concept rather than work against it.
Depending on the engagement, we provide hands-on development, specialist-led delivery, operational oversight or a combination. We can help structure the operating model, prepare teams, establish standards and guide the transition into trading.
That work sits inside the wider plan for opening a new venue. The studio takes on projects for restaurants and bars in Gurgaon and across Delhi NCR, and selected projects elsewhere in India.

From the operator’s side
Rish Saini’s hospitality career began in 2006, serving tables. Outside BDS, he is Founder & Director of Underdoggs and Director of Mrs Kaur’s Bakery & Cafe. That experience of running hospitality businesses, not only designing them, shapes the operating systems BDS sets up.
