The next chapter of a twenty-year-old bakery and café brand.

The brand

Preet Saini founded Mrs Kaur’s in 2006 as a tribute to his mother, starting from a small store in Khan Market, New Delhi. The brand completed twenty years on 30 September 2026.

Today it is a bakery and café: breads, viennoiserie, cookies, brownies, cakes and pastries at the counter, with all-day breakfast, café plates and coffee at the table.

The Golf Course Road flagship

A flagship has to show the whole brand in one place: the bakery that sells across the counter and the café where people sit down to eat. On Golf Course Road, the bakery leads. Long glass cases of breads, viennoiserie and cakes run along navy panelled counters, backed by arched shelving in the same blue, and can be seen from the street through the curved glass of the shopfront.

The café rooms share a terrazzo floor and rust-coloured upholstery: timber tables under woven pendants in the main dining room, navy banquettes against cream panelled walls in a second room, and a private dining room built around a single marble-topped table.

In 2026 Mrs Kaur’s won Best Western Casual Dining at the Times Food & Nightlife Awards, Gurugram.

Rish has designed several venues in Gurugram and Delhi; that local experience sits behind the studio’s restaurant consultancy in Gurgaon and Delhi NCR.
